In partnership with Coloro – The Color Code, WGSN provides reviving, energizing, and vibrant color, which is ideal as we struggle with a variety of emotions and uncertainty about the future.
One of the most effective coping skills for customers is to have a hopeful and cheerful outlook.
Our Color of the Year is inspired by the concepts of community, care, and vitamin- and antioxidant-rich oranges and apricots. It is also a nod to the values of care, connection, and care.
Apricot Crush (Coloro 024-65-27), which is the first color to be predicted as a major trend for A/W 23/24, will give homes a cozy glow both inside and out.
Suitable for textiles, glass, bath, and bedroom furnishings, its gentle, sun-bleached quality pairs well with neutrals. The playful aspect of it will interact with happy beauty products.
Apricot Crush in Terms of Fashion
Although #Barbiecore pink and other similarly brilliant tones appear to be the latest colorways doing so.
Apricot Crush was declared the new Pantone Color of the Year 2024 on Wednesday by consumer and design trend-forecasting firm WGSN and Coloro, WGSN’s self-described “global authority on the future of color.”
Each season, WGSN and Coloro work together to forecast the hues that will become the newest trend, drawing inspiration directly from Coloro’s enormous collection of more than 3,500 modern hues.
The fruit-inspired shade is a little less vibrant than its tangier orange sister that was recently featured throughout New York Fashion Week.
Since it goes well with neutrals and is regarded as gender-inclusive, its soft glow gives variety in terms of clothing.
In addition to being in your closet, Apricot Crush is expected to appear in upcoming cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, and hair color releases.
“Invigorating, mood-enhancing, and vitamin-balancing colors connect with self-care habits, which have become embedded in people’s lives,” Clare Smith, a color strategist for WGSN, said in a formal statement.
“Colors that are calming, attentive, and help to maintain equilibrium in daily life are being emphasized. The significance of nourishing the body and mind is embodied by the color apricot crush, which is our color of the year 2024.
It provides a much-needed pick-me-up as customers struggle with a variety of emotions and future uncertainties. It is the ideal color for a world that seeks serenity and positivity.”
