Ukrainian Interior Designers and architects have been on the designers’ map for some time. Michelle Ogundehin, a well-known British architect and design journalist, chose Ukrainian interior design as one of the emerging trends to watch.

1. BALBEK BUREAU
My interest was piqued by Balbek Bureau’s sixth iteration of the “This is Pyvbar” bar. a combination of materials including wood, copper, micro cement, furniture with a Scandinavian design, and the Shou Sugi Ban wood burning technique.
2. LERA BRUMINA
Lera Brumina is a printmaker and interior designer located in Kyiv. Scandinavian architecture serves as the foundation for her serene home projects. But I also discovered this imaginative and modern bakery cafe, which is colorful and upbeat.
3. MAKHNO DESIGN
Serhii Makhno owns the Makhno Design studio and works as a ceramicist and interior designer. Many of his interiors reflect his Wabi-Sabi design philosophy.
A cozy atmosphere can be produced by a variety of textures, natural materials, and elements including clay, stone, cement, wood, and metal. He is a visionary who thinks beyond the box and connects people to nature.
4. NOOM
Noom is a new design company from Ukraine that specializes in furniture, lighting, and home furnishings.
Arkady Vartanov, a designer and entrepreneur, and Kateryna Sokolova, an industrial designer, launched the business in 2017. In their Ukrainian workshop, they have more than ten years of expertise in creating bespoke furniture.

5. RINA LOVKO STUDIO
Rina Lovko is a boutique design firm with offices in Kyiv that creates interiors for both homes and businesses. Her fashion is vibrant and very contemporary. She incorporates color blocking in some of her interior designs, which I adore.
6. ATER ARCHITECTS
Alexander Ivasiv and Yuliya Tkachenko established Ater Architects, a firm that specializes in both architecture and interior design. They design contemporary interiors for homes, businesses, and hospitals, and they don’t shy away from employing vibrant hues.
7. OKSANA DOLGOPIATOVA
Interior designer Oksana Dolgopiatova works in a specialized field and produces astonishingly varied yet incredibly classic interiors. She is a master at blending old with industrial, raw materials with French classics, and customizing rooms to fit the demands of her clientele.
8. YAKUSHA
Interior design, architecture, creative direction, and product design FAINA are the areas of expertise of the multidisciplinary design company Yakusha. Their design philosophy aims to produce a “living design” that has a close relationship with nature.
9. FAINO DECOR

Interior designers Khrystyna and Nikita, a painter and architect, work for Kyiv-based interior design firm Faino Decor. I was immediately drawn in by this incredibly vibrant and thoughtful décor. They claimed that creating this area was so much fun and inspires creativity.
