Barbie is one of the most anticipated movies of this year. However, ever since the cast was announced, fans have been skeptical about seeing Ryan Gosling as Ken.
After the trailer was dropped, the actor received criticism for being too old to play the part. In a recent interview, Gosling addressed the ageist comments and offered a remedy for those who didn't quite connect with his Ken.
Ryan responded, "I would say, you know, if people don’t want to play with my Ken, there are many other Kens to play with."
He continued, “It is funny, this kind of clutching-your-pearls idea of, like, #notmyken. Like you ever thought about Ken before this? And everyone was fine with that, for him to have a job that is nothing.
