Abel Tesfaye (AKA The Weeknd) pretty much offers “Blinding Lights” when it comes to his love life.
Considering his worldwide fame and newfound acting stardom in the controversial television show, The Idol, it’s definitely a wonder who The Weeknd is dating now.
Despite his romantic relationships often taking the spotlight and carrying through to the lyrics of his albums, The Weeknd isn’t entirely open about his past or current flames.
“I do feel guilty,” Tefaye said of dating someone who isn’t famous in a September 2021 interview with GQ. “That’s why I don’t… I try not to do too much. I just try not to bring attention to myself.
“ Although the Weeknd elaborated that he “just love[s] being in normal situations,” he has certainly drawn eyes to his dating history due to its inclusion of some extremely well-known women—does the name Selena Gomez ring a bell?
The Weeknd apparently has a present girlfriend—but it’s all very hush-hush. Simi Khadra, a famous DJ, was photographed kissing Abel back in February 2022.
In April 2023, the pair were claimed to still be going strong after making a rare Coachella appearance in matching outfits.
